Hey appreciate the commentary but you aren’t a woman and this is a women’s space.
Mystic Mushroom [Ze/Zir]@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•*Permanently Deleted*English42·27 days agoPeople shunning or putting down training AI with pirated images while engaging in and promoting piracy themselves are hypocritical idiots because they’re engaging in the very thing they are shunning. You can’t shun copyright infringement and take part in it at the same time, that’s idiotic and destroys your credibility.
Mystic Mushroom [Ze/Zir]@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•*Permanently Deleted*English72·27 days agoPiracy was never stealing, anyone who said it was is either an idiot or a troll (those anti-piracy astroturfers would fall into the second category).
Mystic Mushroom [Ze/Zir]@lemmy.dbzer0.comto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•*Permanently Deleted*English12·27 days agoConsidering who lobbies for and enforces copyright these days (rich assholes) and the amount put into anti-piracy and anti-sharing campaigns I don’t think it’s helping much in those areas. Companies these days often violate GPL with little to no consequence (name one time a company got in trouble and there’s probably 100 that didn’t).

Abolishment of copyright goes against these people’s core beliefs of control, they don’t want copyright gone, they wish to control it.

Here’s mine, (right now anyway, doesn’t stay the same for long) 185.220.101.21, come show up to… some datacenter in Germany…
Also I’m not sure if dbzer0 saves those persistently or clears them out often. If they do clear them then it probably doesn’t matter much.
