I’m afraid it’s mostly that last one.
Watch people flock to yet another corporate social media honeypot instead of going for something less dystopian.
Vic3 is a great sandbox right now, but still feels a bit empty. With the warfare patch and some more specific flavors packs, it’ll be top-notch I think.
Really goes for almost everything. I don’t want my machines and appliances to be ‘smart’ and ‘connected’. I just want them to do the thing I use them for, that’s it.
I’m very happy with the game at its base, especially the economic simulation. Excellent starting point for stuff like this!
I’m also not that put off by the warfare system. It was never the main focus of the series and I’m happy they’re at least testing out new formats. It’s also the best one to try them out I think. I expect great improvements in the next few years of updates.
Are those still playable? Loved those, great vibe!
One of my cats snores a lot and loudly, but it’s also very cute.
Been playing Assassin’s Creed Odessey lately. It’s fun and big, but I think, ultimately, Origins was a better game. There was a lot more cultural diversity present and they changed some mechanics for the worse imho. But it’s kinda cool how smooth it runs on my Linux machine!
Not sure if it’s entirely solarpunk, but Timberborn has some nice vibes!
It’s nice that they don’t shy away from overhauling existing systems completely (instead of tacking on new systems).
