Just using it as a streaming machine.
He’s just using it for streaming, figured it having a built in screen would help significantly with the limited space in his flat.
If you want an app for your phone, Soulseek has done me absolute wonders. Shockingly it’s on the Google play store. It requires an account, but the app automatically makes you one when you use it iirc.
I don’t have answers that haven’t already been said, but I’ll give a recommendation to Seeker as a means of downloading music outside of streaming apps. A statue less than a hundred years old built to commemorate a traitor who fought against this country for an unrecognized rebel movement formed out of the desire to own people as property. You’re not gonna see Germans erect statues celebrating Hitler, Russians Ukrainians celebrating Stalin, or Cambodians praising Pol Pot. Why should Americans celebrate an enemy of the state?
For on the go I rock either some KZ ZSN Pro X dirty buds or my EarFun Air Pros.
For gaming and general computer usage I got my Samson SR850s, which are just brilliant for the price. Get some deeper ear pads and I can wear them all day long.
For getting high and critically listening to music tho, I friggen love my Monolith M565 open back planar magnetics. Holy STINK, as somebody who grew up poor not knowing anything audiophile, these things are God damn glorious.
