The reality is the average person will play a shitty game for something to do especially if it’s within their interests. This is the right way of thinking. I personally can’t stand IOS but thats me. It would be awesome to have the option to run any OS even cooler would be if you could pay to have it official which of course will never happen.
I’m kinda new to the scene so take what I say with a grain of salt. I have jellyfin running on a laptop and I use a roku stick to stream through. Not perfect by any means however it does what I need to do. I’ve been told using a raspberry PI would be a great budget option with more feature.
I use to torrent everything until Netflix and as competitors began popping up it was fine as it was convenient but now I can’t keep up with what’s where. Had to dust off the hat and learned to set up a server for jellyfin. I tried being fair but they got greedy
I honestly thought external drives were just plugged into the case and could be quickly popped out and used as an internal. Someone else provided a really indepth guide for me and this NAS isn’t capable of using jellyfin only plex so the plan is to go with PI and get that working
Christmas stuff shows up in August where im at. You’ll have a few aisles of Halloween and a couple Christmas. Its been this way since about 2015 or atleast thats when I noticed it as I was working retail at that time. Lots of people give me shit for not celebrating Christmas until mid December. Its not really magical if we’re just gonna celebrate it half the year.
