Nope I’m not seeing it personally.
If I’m posting I’m probably high so don’t hate on me
Nope I’m not seeing it personally.
When I used to work a lot with Python the packaging solutions available were the bane of my existence. I hope they’ve gotten better by now…
A TV box from AliExpress.
Personally I like Connect even though it’s not FOSS because it’s layout is similar to RiF.
They claim it’s to generate your encryption key but then I don’t understand why you can’t just give it a passphrase instead. Pretty dumb for a so-called privacy related app.
I watched a thing about copyright and trademark enforcement where the corporate organization was somehow able to gather a team of 50 police at tax payer expense and march them into a Sunday market in order to capture and shut down market stores selling fake knockoffs. You could see how wildly unpopular it was with the entire crowd around them where some shoppers even continued browsing and trying to purchase goods from the shut down stores even with cops standing right there trying to make the crowd move on.
Copyright and trademark infringement against multi-billionare companies with continuous record profits is seen as a victimless “crime” at best by the vast majority of people, even reasonably well off people too. The only repercussion if you’re “caught” should be just paying the actual construction/reproduction cost of the item which is pennies, they weren’t going to make this sale at their ridiculous retail price in the first place and their real losses are miniscule at best.

It’s a good game though, but needed more time in the oven.
By being on Lemmy World you are also automatically on any other instance the server federates with. That’s the neat part, you don’t have to worry too much about it as a user.
I have the family account but I’m not the one who will use this. Hopefully it’s not a pain to switch who can claim this because currently it’s limited to the main account holder.
Better off buying a headset and mic separately anyway imo. Most headset mics sound like trash and by limiting yourself to just gaming products it usually means settling for something subpar too.
I think you might be a little confused friend.
That streamer is paid by them so I wouldn’t put much faith in their opinion on it.
Never trust anything sold to you with crypto incentives honestly.
Games, software, no matter what.
I tend to agree but that doesn’t mean we should see bots analysing every post and comment looking for these things either. Lemmy isn’t a school essay or a formal letter where these thing truly matter.
Personally, I come here to relax and discuss topics of interest, not be nitpicked over the posts and comments I make.
A platform like Lemmy is about communicating in a relaxed non-formal way with others. How you achieve that is fine and spelling mistakes etc don’t really matter. At the very least, such a bot should only be opt-in if you like it. Otherwise, leave the nitpicking to the teachers.
Bots like gramma and spelling bots should just gtfo. Every bot should be a genuine postitive improvement to a community or otherwise they shouldn’t exist.
I finally stopped using it entirely when they started paywalling the answers. I don’t know if you had to actually pay or just sign up to view them but whatever it was went too far for me. Nothing of real value was honesty lost from my existence either.
