3·4 months agoThe wandering village
It is a nice little recourse management game. What makes it special is that you need to do it on the back of an ancient “animal”. If you befriend (it trusts your judgement ) or tame it can you tell it what to do like where to go (so you can pick a bio), sleep, eat, run, walk and so on. I went for the befriend route, hurting it by ripping out resources from it didn’t sit well with me (but I am very curious, because you do miss out on a lot). The story is pretty simple but it is nicely paced and I do like the lore. I actually didn’t really think the main quest would be anything special so I was happily surprised.

2·5 months agoI loved AC when it was ezio who was the main character and black Flag but I couldn’t play Unity. I am unsure why, I tried playing syndicate too but I got bored of it just as I got bored of unity…
But maybe I should try unity again and have a look at that mod.

3·5 months agoI just finished badend theater. I am unsure if I want to recommend it or not. It wasn’t hard, the story wasn’t deep. You finish it pretty fast, but it was still nice, especially if you like to chase achievements and puzzle solving. It has a fun core mechanic.
Now am I playing little nightmares 2, it is outside of my comfort zone to not be able to fight back (most of the time) and just run and hide.
My goal is to play games that actually ends, I play too many games that never ends haha

Games@lemmy.world•How do you keep track of what games you have played over the years?English
5·6 months agoI do the same but use collections in steam, so I move the game when done, want to play, is playing and so on, and if I really hate/dislike the game then i will hide it.
Btw i saw you had Borderlands on hold did you see the user stats on the whole Frenchies? Big red text “overwhelming negativ”, most comments was about it being spy wear so maybe change that status to Nope with Genshin impact? I haven’t really looked into it tho saw it a moment ago.

Map Enthusiasts@sopuli.xyz•Most downloaded apps in Europe by country in 2024
3·6 months agoMaybe from this site: https://www.businessofapps.com/data/most-popular-apps/
You can buy reports too.
I couldn’t find one with the whole Europe (free), but Italy is still wrong in the image tho.
All places I find seem to point at this source tho https://appmagic.rocks/
Like this page that you would think had their own data: https://www.statista.com/statistics/698982/leading-android-apps-in-norway-by-downloads/
They could also just have looked up news articles for all the countries. Crunch that data haha

Programming@programming.dev•How to Learn from Tutorials the Right Way – and Not Get Trapped in Tutorial Hell
1·2 years agoI have been through the same. I can find a lot of tutorials on the super easy stuff but more advanced or just a bit more advance stuff is up to me to figuring out. It is so bad that i start with documentations first then try it out myself, then google problems. I do not checkout tutorials anymore, only if i am super new on the subject. Chat gpt has been a lot more helpful, either it helps me with the problem or give me hints on what to google for or try out.
That could actually happen, it happens to me a lot. I use voyager and sometimes do i hold the vote slide too long. But (i hope) i always see it and fix it. Sometimes i need multiple tries, i vote too little to get good at it 😂

This looks great! I do not know why I like it so much, but something makes me want to stare at it a lot! Great job!
