Got to play again the other night for the first time in like 15 years and there were several “I’ll allow it” statements made. Fun night.
My friends and I can always find 50 other apps for voice chatting, texting and screen sharing. What pisses me off royally is the thousands of companies/groups that decided instead of making forums or websites or GitHub pages, they would just host EVERYTHING from within Discord’s walled garden.
But the AI wrote the joke, too. OP(or rather OOP) didn’t contribute anything more than typing “make me a comic about science”, clicking generate, and then uploading. And the entire process used a shit ton of extra power to generate the image compared to conventionally doing the art.
I use AI. I’m not better than anyone, I’m just not going to pretend there isn’t a lot wrong with the whole situation.
Hit it with some gaussian blur and it might look really great that way.
