It’s mesmerizing.
Thank you! I appreciate that very much.
Thank you and thanks for noticing! I redid basically everything for this part just so the grain of the wood could be put to good use. The first few iterations of that piece just wasn’t doing it for me… until I realized that’s exactly what I was missing.

When you cook them right like we do down south (yeee-haw!), they’ll never be slimy like that shit you get in the freezer section at a grocery store.
I got 8 okra stalks just coming up in my garden that will yield me many, many pounds of okra throughout this summer.

And to add the cherry on top, should you ever reach his arbitrary speed limit, it distorts time itself. Even if you flew through space at c for a little weekend getaway, you’d return to a now foreign world only to find time had skipped forward +2,000 years, your entire family and social circles long dead from old age with societal and technical advancements beyond what you could have ever thought possible, completely isolating you. You’re now doomed to live in an unfamiliar world where not a single human speaks your language nor can they relate to you in any meaning way.
AKA, gods speeding ticket.
I remember for a while back in the late 90’s maybe, a lot of kids would have one of those custom airbrushed shirts youd get at a flea market or county fair with their name in BIG BOLD and colorful lettering all the way across the front.
Little kids playing at their local park could easily be approached by a stranger saying, “hey joey! Your mom told be to pick you up. She’s in the hospital and we have to leave right now!” The panicked child follows the man who is seemingly confirmed sent by his mom because he knows his first name, forgetting anyone who’s not legally blind within a block of him also knows his name.
Luckily we don’t see much of that these days. Creeps are now limited to accessing merely every single detail of a child’s life because mom runs a Facebook or Instagram for their child.
Bonus footage- Here’s my chubby little sunshine babe in said princess bed.
My baby girl is named Penny too! Perfect name for a classy lady.

JPSound@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•Age of Empires designer believes RTS games need to finally evolve after decades of stagnationEnglish211·6 months agoDevs or more specifically the parasitic executives who want nothing that a money machine look no further than Factorio as a shining example of how to innovate a gaming experience and genre. It is as easy or difficult and as simple or complicated as the player wants it to be and it’s not because difficultly settings. Your playstyle is the difficulty setting and it feels like there is ALWAYS something new to do, or a wildly different ways to do the same things. Also, their mod support and integration is unparalleled as far as any other game that comes to mind. No micro transactions, no ads, just an excellent game and experience. Sure, Factorio isn’t for everyone but the way it has been build, supported and all of those other elements that make it what it is beyond the core factory building sim ARE FOR EVERYONE. These aspects can be applied to other RTS games in general and can make it feel like a brand new experience while still being exactly what draws players into a specific RTS game.

Still not as fun as spin up/spin down quarks. Are they spinning? Not at all. And Charm quarks. What the hell does that even mean, science nerds? We also have the strange quark… aren’t they all really strange or have you just completely given up?

JPSound@lemmy.worldto Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•What games can you not get into because they feel too outdated?0·1 year agoFONV and Skyrim. Even with mods, FONV looks like microwaved dog shit. Im mot even a huge graphics nut but at a point it becomes too distracting and FONV goes far beyond that. Skyrim’s sluggish movements keep me completely disengaged, although the graphics don’t throw me off quite as much, it feels so outdated that the immersion is ruined right from the very start.
Circles are jerkles.
