Grothorious@lemmy.worldOPtoPhotography@lemmy.world•Tiny water droplet on a moss sporophite
3·16 days agoNo idea, but shallow. I used sigma 105mm f2.8 macro lens (nikon d500 body), and, honestly, the continuous high mode was my friend :D

Sure,
I used nikon D500 with sigma 105mm f2.8 macro lens, the whole thing was mounted on a tripod, and i used some soft yellow light from about 2 meters away to light up the area below mushrooms a bit. After that, some basic processing in lightroom classic.
Oh, and post processing in lightroom, obviously.
Thanks, glad you like it!
Subject on a white paper, red light from the right, tiny bit of white light from the left (i partially covered my phone light with my finger to limit white light severely).
The pic was taken with nikon d500 and sigma 105mm macro lens, camera was mounted on a tripod.

Thank you!
I like big buds and i cannot lie 😁
Nikon D500 with sigma 105mm f2.8.
As for workflow - i go for long walks in the forest, off the beaten path if possible, and keep eyes peeled for interesting details, either it’s macro or wide shot. I normally carry like 5 lenses with me everywhere i go, heavy af but i really like this hobby, so it doesn’t bother me too much :)
If you meant workflow in post, i use lightroom to adjust colors and crop, rarely i use photoshop to remove any disturbing elements.
I used Nikon D500 with Sigma 105mm f2.8 macro lens and flash, no focus stacking.
