And how do you propose that we fund these hypothetical guilds? I’m not trying to be sarcastic. But it sounds to me like the idea for attaining the funding will be to have the members that have no guarantees and ability to make the funding to pay for the initial startup. I’m not saying this is impossible, but I am saying that this requires a large critical mass of people to form and organize voluntarily and work for possibly multiple years to bring this together before anyone can see a single red cent of benefit. This is rather hard in today’s society. It is even harder with modern remote work. To me, it seems that most unions died with globalization as the workforce was spread out and decentralized and disinvested making it harder to work together for a common goal.

The reason that they require an account is because if they did not require user side authentication then it would be trivial to upload obfuscated malware and then use Nexus as a host to distribute it. If someone uploads malware to a random S3 bucket or random VPS or random shared server and tries to use it as a malicious host, the owner and operator will notice a massive bandwidth spike Nexus won’t notice 30,000 downloads.

I also hope they’ve taken steps to prevent themselves being used as a host for malicious entities to distribute malware to third parties

Yes they are tracking us. That’s how they pay to keep the servers running.
If your not paying you are the product.

It’s a lot easier to figure out why your service is broken if it’s the only service on the IP versus there being 10 services on the same IP all dumping into the same log. Lets me grep a lot easier

The vanilla enhanced mod has tasers.
Personally, I try to keep one husky per colonist as a good ratio. And nothing puts down a prison riot quicker than 30 Huskies charging into the prison to bite and scratch…
And since I have a hospital just for prisoners in the prison, it’s pretty easy to carry them across the floor to the beds.
The nicer the barracks is the less likely they are to prison break. Also the fewer of them. The less likely they are to prison break
Imagine going from sweaty tribal life to a air-conditioned good quality hospital beds with fine quality meals you don’t want to revolt at that point you want to join those people.
I also give my prisoners books and radio to keep mood up and granite batons are issued to guards when prisoners get annoyed.

Pretty much what the other people said. I have mine automatically strip on capture. Pretty sure that’s a mod. Then once they wake up they will equip a jumpsuit for themselves. I normally give them full leather gear on a few shelves in the prison barracks / hospital (this contrasts with the flak armor I equip all my pawns with) so I can easily see who was recently captured once they do integrate into the colony. Makes it way easier to manage equipment.

Art of the deal baby
It’s not incompetent to give someone a penny and have them give you back $100. That’s a great investment. So I would have to say their corruption is very confident if they can give a million dollar bribe and get back a billion dollars of revenue.
This is what we call long-term investment a taxman wins once you have kids
