Thank you for your kind comment! And for calling my clouds gorgeous :D
I’m not new to Lemmy per se, but I am new to posting here, so I didn’t really know exactly how things were going to display, especially with the automatic embeds that lots of social media sites do these days. I’ll definitely take the effort to add pictures directly to the post in the future! I agree that not taking people off platform unless they really want to would be preferable, sorry!
Thank you! That’s actually really good advice, if you share positivity then you’re more likely to attract positive people! Makes perfect sense 🙂
Well, I’m glad this one is gaining lots of interest for you! It looks like a cool game!
I have my first game called “Enso” in the Steam Next Fest right now, so fingers crossed I’ll be able to gain a little traction too! Do you have any tips on how to promote your game without feeling like a scumbag? I hate the “salesman” type feeling I get from talking about my game online 😅
Congrats, that’s a massive achievement!
Wait, this is YOUR fault?!! 😋
Oh, cool! Well, thanks for sharing! I love Factorio 🙂
That’s amazing work, well done! And thanks for writing everything up in a blog post it’s super interesting :)
I got the 64GB version direct from OnePlus through the invite system, it released for $349 / 299 €.
I bought a Oneplus One (300 €) and kept it for 5 years, then a Samsung S10e (475 €) and still have it now, so going to be 5 years soon too.
Beautiful 😍
Haha, yes I live in France 😉 I have one I go to for baguettes, one for rye bread and cookies, one for “tarte au citron” 😍🍪🥖 I’d happily teleport a fresh baguette to you if I could!
I’m lucky to have 6 artisan bakeries within walking distance!
That’s the saddest thing I’ve heard today 🙁
I think I need a croissant.
I’m gonna go get a croissant 🙂
That’s interesting! I do something similar using Obsidian, but not nearly as structured or disciplined. Going to make some changes 🙂
I do currently keep a list of tasks and organise them daily, but what you said about putting on a different hat made me realise that I’ve been treating it as a chore to get done as fast as possible, whereas I should respect this stage and allot myself the time to get into the correct headspace. Thank you for the detailed reply and your encouragement!
Thanks for the compliment 🙂 and yes that’s exactly it, I’ve been frustrated at myself about being overly critical of my own work, and would love to get more of that flowstate urgency you feel while participating in gamejams into my everyday life. But you’re right, I’m going to follow your advice and make it more prominent!
Thank you! You’re right, I never realised how similar they look 😀
Yeah same, it’s honestly the only subscription of pretty much any kind that actually feels mostly worth the price for me.
In my opinion, Foddians are best described as games that require you to learn a skill while testing your patience. Some involve some kind of platforming challenge, that can feel punishing, as a small mistake can cost you a chunk of progress.
I don’t think calling them “bad on purpose” with crappy controls is very fair, as Getting Over It, Jump King, and A Difficult Game About Climbing, to name just a few, are all extremely well polished games.
