On that note, Lord of the Rings extended editions have been showing in theaters the last couple weekends. I kept thinking how prior to battles the fighters were all geared up and marched for days (or longer) and showed up throwing themselves straight into battle. Here I am not functioning as my soft ass finishes my coffee in bed, trying to negotiate when I need to actually start getting ready for work.

Celery tastes like that too me as well, but no allergy. I can eat it with no negative effects, other than the fact that I’ve had to taste celery.

It’s been a while since I looked at this, but different color pills “work” better for different ailments. Also the size and numbers of pills effect results as well. Two pills are “stronger” than one, bigger pills over smaller as well.

Ham, pineapple, onions, green peppers, and jalapenos, no sauce. One of my favorite pizzas.

There’s enough goodness that you really don’t need pizza sauce on it, or at least I’ve never come across a sauce that works with pineapple. But the flavors and textures work well together.

I adopted mine as well, he was “Tuffy” at the time but my son kept calling him “Baby.” I didn’t want to name my cat Baby, so I found out that Miles is the character’s real name in Baby Driver lol.

About a year and a half ago I spent around $1100 on extensive dental work for my adopted cat. I told him that was his big expense, please don’t put me in the position to make a hard decision again in the future because I can’t keep doing that. Little fucker is worth it though.

Yep - our bodies turn the thermostat up, increasing metabolism/cellular functions, which increases body temperature. Fatigue slows us down as our bodies redirect resources towards supporting our immune systems and producing cells to fight off the infection, vs spending that energy on being mentally and physically active.

Once our bodies get a handle on things, the fever “breaks” and we start recovery and return to homeostasis.

On RiF I could continuously scroll, but there was a line that noted “page 2” etc as you scrolled to the next page. That was a simple reminder to check myself lol.

Your first message literally states as of it were fact that the cat is sick, then you follow it with " might be nothing much" and acknowledge that’s it’s hard to diagnose with a 2 second gif. It makes it sound like you’re pulling random comments out of the air just to hear yourself talk.

Have you met a younger cat? Have you known cats when they “get zoomies”? As strange as it may look, this is pretty damn normal silly cat behavior when they get really excited. Ever see a dog playing that gets so excited it startles itself with its own tail? It’s the same thing.

Well, there is a “solution” in the works. It’s currently not required for my position and will only initially apply to Medicare (or Medicaid - don’t recall which) patients.

The hospital provides field staff with cell phones. There’s an app we’re just getting training on that will time stamp our visits, travel, and mileage, as well as track GPS for verification of visits. It will also flag and ask for clarification if travel time exceeds expectation.

Currently we self report, so if I stop at McDonald’s because I have to pee, it’s nobodies business. Many of my coworkers are less than thrilled with the new app (honestly most aren’t that fond of tech or changes to begin with) even though management is attempting to reassure that they’re really not intending to track us, it’s just for patient verification (for the very small percentage of patients it applies to.)

I use it to make documentation easier for work. I have to log visit times, travel time and mileage for each patient I visit. So much easier to pull up the info of my phone after work than to remember to track miles and log time getting in and out of my car.
