I was using the regular Bypass Paywall, but people in this thread recommended Bypass Paywall Clean d, and that indeed worked out of the box

I do have uBlock origin installed. I wouldn’t get anywhere near the Internet without it (haven’t seen an add in years). But I really aware of the possibility of using uBlock for Paywall bypassing. Thanks for the tip!
Oh OK, thanks for the clarification. I’ll try to enable the option you suggest. Thanks for the tip!
Ah thanks, now I understand the other message I read about uBlock. I tried disabling uBlock for that particular website to get the Bypass Paywall add-on to work but it never did. Someone suggested to install Bypass Paywall Clean d, and that worked out of the box
Wait, I didn’t know that. You’re saying uBlock Origin can also bypass paywalls? :o
EDIT: nevermind I know what you meant now. I tried disabling uBlock for that website but it still didn’t work. Bypass Paywall Clean d did the job
Maybe it’s because I’m not a native speaker, but I didn’t find it funny at all. I got the A coo sticks = Acoustics right away, but it seems forced. Saying a sound ‘sticks’ is not how one would describe a sound not traveling/bouncing.
Thanks! That worked out of the box
Thanks. Did you install this yourself? The readme says to download the xpi file, but there are two available, one version ends with ‘custom’. Do you know what’s the difference?
I mean what do trees and words have to do with each other in the first place. What cretins we were
I’m too attached to mine already but maybe in the next life
There’s no shame it being in the et al. Hell, most authors are ‘et al.’!
Anyone has a link to the original paper?
I get most of my recommendations via Diaspora and Mastodon (2 social networks that are part of the fediverse). They allow you to follow hashtags, so I just follow the hashtags of the music I’m interested and see people’s posts that are tagged with them
Interestingly, when Newton published his Universal Gravitation theory, it was considered as spooky as quantum physics is nowadays. It broke away with the Mechanical philosophy of the day that saw the natural world as a series of direct cause-effect interactions. Even Newton disliked the implications of UG and tried to make them for, unsuccessfully, into Mechanical philosophy.
I think the point is that it’s the same (type of) computation or process over and over.
