Hard to have a slow morning and day naps when you’re rushing between two jobs because you don’t have money.

If you had money, you could be more selective in finding work that provided the balance and flexibility needed to appreciate the things in life that are free.

But all of these things are too expensive when you’re time-poor, and most people are time poor because they’re desperately trying to avoid being financially poor.

Now that I know you’re trying to frame it in a positive way, I can force myself to read your comment in a positive tone. But it’s difficult because the language chosen still makes me read it like you’re annoyed that autistic people will miss the sarcasm and take it too seriously.

I’m using sync at the moment, I don’t dislike it but there is room for improvement. I have very low accessibility needs. I have palsies in my hands so for me it’s about having nice big icons to tap, because I don’t have the dexterity to push tiny text links or really cramped hit boxes.

My phone GUI is enlarged and sync is just the first third party app I found that scaled well with my phone, most third party apps work for me, it’s just the reddit official app that really, really doesn’t. It’s unreadable with my GUI settings.

Exactly, I didn’t have a tantrum. I used a third party app because of the accessibility features it offered that the official app doesn’t. I can’t use reddit now, so I don’t use reddit.

Oddly I think parties like this would be more beneficial to the child.

For example, being gay might be illegal where I live, it won’t stop me accessing queer communities online.

That’s an obvious situation for me, because it’s such an unjust law, but a more vague example might be an 18 year old in the USA and and 18 year old in Australia discussing the consumption of alcohol and how to make homebrew. One of those people are breaking local laws. In the grand scheme of things this is a relatively harmless situation, but would this technology be a violation of the T&S?

Our DM was growing tired and it felt like perfect timing because I had this idea for a short campaign I wanted to try and run, so as a group we decided that we’d do a few weeks of one shots, with a new DM each time so we could all get some experience in a short and casual way.

Our existing DM offered to do the first because he wanted to try and set up a quick adventure covering some of the things he’d built for a previous campaign that we as a party had just completely skipped past. “it will take us 5 hours” he said.

That was a year ago. The 5 hour one off is now up to its 40th session, and our “tired” DM keeps finding ways to keep the story going with twists and turns and I no longer believe that he’s bored of DMing.

But it means I’ve had a full year too flesh out my ideas, so when he really is bored of running sessions, I’m feeling more than ready to give it a go.

Yup, that’s why I’m here. Since sync for reddit ended, Relay was the only app I found with the accessibility settings that I need. Using sync for Lemmy, haven’t tried any other apps or browsing methods yet but so far it’s been great.
