Yeah it’s easy to get bummed when plans don’t work out like you hoped (I’ve been dealing with a lot of that this season). But your efforts go to show that if you keep trying you can wind up with something you can be proud of =) I’ll keep that in mind as I soldier on with my back yard.

Looks great. You figured out what works for you and went with it instead of fighting it. That’s the way to get things done. Awesome job!

I did ‘no mow May’ this year and my neighbors hated it. The dumbest part was that the grass wasn’t any longer than the flowers I planted at the same time. My next door neighbor cuts his grass so short you can see all the ‘bald’ spots of dirt because he won’t let the grass grow enough to cover it. He’s very proud of it.
