I like minimalism.
I mean, that’s a problem with the original as well. But it’s not because you live in a primitive way that you can’t take care of your appearance, if anything prehistoric people were already shaving themselves and styling their bodyhair for dozens of thousands of years before writing was even a thing. If you want more realistic characterization then give her sunburnt and rough skin, callouses on her hand, scars on her limbs, that sort of thing…
There’s this concept in game design called game flow, which in simple terms is essentially what happens when a game is both engaging and challenging at just the right amounts to the point where you get immersed in the experience. You can’t have good flow without both some challenge and reward.
That’s why games that are too simple and/or easy are boring. I feel like that’s a very fine line you have to walk if you want to make a “cozy” game. How relaxing is relaxing enough without being boring? You need a minimum of challenge and stakes, because that’s makes good games good.
They think alphabet agencies can’t hack/infect/bug their fairphone at will without them even noticing.
They think only Chinese phones are spy phones
This is less a sign of “the devs don’t trust the player” and more just plain out bad game design. Maybe the game itself is very obvious (I don’t know, i haven’t played nor do I intend to), but this kind of thing is usually done when the game is obtuse and the developer wants a quickfix instead of actually reworking the entire thing. Then again, if your game is for little children and they can’t figure out how to play it, then there’s something fundamentally wrong with it and maybe you should go back to the drawing board.
Ok? And buying literally any game by EA, Activision, Microsoft, Sony, 2K, Devolver, Epic and countless other companies helps fund the war on Gaza and America’s neo-colonialism and imperialism. Notice I didn’t even mention European companies, because that’s another whole can of worms.
Used to be that… Now it’s just whatever the fuck the head designer dreamed up while on mushrooms.
Took them a while. But like clockwork, Nintendo never misses a chance to be the villains.
Nah. Move him there, alone, forever.
Tell me you’re American without telling me you’re American.
Right? Sports games in general back in the aughts had the best soundtracks of any games, so much edgy rock, punk and metal. I don’t think anything nowadays can compare unfortunately.
Are you really surprised these gachas attract tons of horny teenage coomers with waifu baiting as a business model?
Sure, but there are those who say Moraes is overstepping with his demands. Quite frankly I don’t know what to say, all I know is that any loss for Musk is a win for me.
🤷♂️
Elon is trying to enforce his views over Brazil’s law. To force a crisis IMHO.
He’s trying to see how far he can push his bullshit.
There is, the “Marco Civil da Internet” states that a business that works in Brazil needs to respect Brazil’s law, and non compliance may trigger block in it’s service by ruling.
That’s the thing though, to my knowledge Twitter didn’t break any laws, they ignored an order to take down accounts from their website. You could make the argument that in ignoring that order they were going against the law, but that’s about it. And honestly, that’s not the first time that has happened, this time they just decided to block Twitter because Musk was being a little shit about it, again maybe this will serve as a precedent in the future.
Libertarianism is a right-wing ideology though, it’s pro corporate deregulation and lasseiz-faire capitalism. If you’re pro individual freedom, but opposed to right-wing ideas then the closest thing you can be is an Anarchist.
Ok, but there isn’t anything in the Brazilian body of law that says social media needs to have legal representation in the country to be functional, otherwise TikTok, Reddit and even Lemmy would’ve been blocked long ago, that’s the argument being made. That said, nothing like this has ever happened before, so maybe this could serve as a precedent for a new series of legislations.
The Huns would like a word with you.
