I recently tried some dual-color silk filament. Half the filament is one color, half is another color. It makes cool looking parts that are different colors on each side.

Getting a stripped screw or bolt to come out is one thing.
Getting one out without contaminating everything around it is another.
Money people are literally too stupid to understand anything other than line go up or line go down. They were told line would go up if DRM, so that’s what they want.
I wish I could get my head around programming. I’ve tried learning from books, I’ve tried learning from codecademy, and all I can do is follow the lessons, I don’t understand how I’m supposed to turn all these lines of gibberish into a program that does something. The most common bit of advice I get is “Just make up a project! Find something that you want the computer to do, it’s easy and fun!” And I’m over here like… “OK, how?” It’s like someone pointing to a pile of metal and a welder and saying “Build something!” Sure, someone who knows how to weld can do that, but most people are going to need more information.
Where is the hand-crank centrifuge?
My wife and I used to take care of her grandmother. I had a simple VR headset and I would show her parts of cities she hadn’t been to in street view.
Another vote for the Brother monochrome laser printer. My LH-23200 has needed toner once since 2017, and a four pack of toner from Brother costs about $30.
I have a K1 and was wondering if it would be mentioned. In the beginning I had extrusion problems, I contacted Creality and they had new, redesigned parts in my hand in a week. Since then it has been a workhorse, slapping perfect prints down every time.
This has less to do with pornography than it does normalizing one more goddamn camera.
Say it again for the people in the back.
Thanks for the tip, I use SW at work. This would work out well for me.
CAN YOU NOT FUCKING READ ENGLISH, PRIVATE? WHY IS THIS ORGANIC COMPOSTABLE SHELL CASING IN THE ALUMINUM BIN? DID YOUR INBRED F150 DRIVING PARENTS FORGET TO TEACH YOU HOW TO RECYCLE? “JUST TOSS IT WHEREVER”, RIGHT?
They would still be useful for reconnaissance, and could drop smaller things like grenades.
I think a solar powered drone might work better for this.
Thankfully I’m in a position where I can use SW for limited CAD tomfoolery, just so long as I’m not making models/drawings for another company or something.
It’s the thing that people most often whine about with SW. I don’t think it crashes more often than any other program, but when you are in your own world trying to design something it can be annoying.
Edit: I feel it’s entirely fair to compare Freecad to Solidworks, Inventor, Fusion360, Autocad, etc. It’s a cad program. I’m comparing it to other cad programs. To say that’s not a fair comparison is kind of a condemnation of freecad.

Yes, Freecad exists. I may not be an expert, but I do this (drafting and design) for a living, and freecad is terrible. I can get more done in Solidworks, despite it crashing, than I can in freecad in the same amount of time.
Something I had happen to me: make sure there isn’t a cable or something bumping the adjuster wheels as the print bed moves back and forth.
What I have wondered is do people who grow up in places where the streets are more or less in a grid end up with a different sense of direction to those who grew up in a place where old walking paths were just paved over, creating more random street layouts?
