Yeah, I have to take breaks sometimes and be in the right mood. I find that I like to play more when I’m going through a boring patch at work and I need something mentally stimulating.

Everything except the losing interest part is what people love about factory games. So while they have your interest, realize that you are absolutely playing them “correctly”. But if you don’t like iterating your designs (not everyone does, and that’s OK), then these are probably not the right genre for you.
Unfortunately, this is one of those fun ideas that simply won’t ever be possible. Even if we start with the easy one of just breaking chemical bonds, those bonds exist because it reduces the total energy of the system.
To “disrupt” those bonds, energy must be supplied, and to do it for even a small amount of material would require a tremendous amount of energy. Delivering that much energy over a distance just isn’t possible because atmosphere in between would also be “disrupted”. The disrupted material would also fly apart at high speeds and high temperatures. So any type of “ray” or “gun” would just turn into a bomb with a pistol grip trigger. I expect that the user experience testing would have lots of very negative reviews.
Are you completing them quickly and correctly? If you are, that might be the issue.
Try making mistakes and then undoing them, as if you mis-clicked.
You should see an increase, but likely small. Since the end point increased and since the curve only increases between upgrades, that means that all points before the end point must also increase. However, most of the benefit is now granted in the first half of the upgrades possible, so at your level the increase per level will be smaller than it was before.
Flowx is really great. The only app that I pay a subscription for, but if you want basic weather then the free tier will be all you need.
Games tend to run better on Yuzu as well, they can definitely go to high res or frame rates if you have a decent computer. Some games may not run great right away, but give it a few weeks after release for updates and it absolutely provides a better experience than Nintendo’s system.
I haven’t read the book, but watched the movie. I think Event Horizon might be what you’re looking for.
I’ve heard references to these sorts of stories in the 40k universe, but again I haven’t read the books.
I’ve had pixel phones for at least 5 years now. I’ve probably had less than 10 random restarts, most of those would have been from apps crashing.
Sometimes the device gets slow and I restart it. But that happens maybe 3 times per year. Otherwise the phone only gets restarted when an update is installed.
I think they plan to offer a gaming service (eg Game Pass) that will not be dependent on a platform. I’m sure their IP will have exclusives or timed exclusives on that service.
We will probably see another Xbox. But I’m not sure if we’ll see 2 more. Same goes for Playstation. There will certainly be a ps6, but will there be a ps7?
You’re implying that the double slit experiment is unresolved. What do you mean by that?
Edit: I’d also be interested to read the articles about entropy and time. Could you link one please?
While it’s true that a photon doesn’t see time pass, an electron does and they exhibit the same behavior in the double slit experiment. I don’t see how the particles perception of time explains the results.
I think some phone manufacturers do offer a files app, I don’t know which ones have smb capabilities though. Regardless, it is an app, not a part of the OS. Also sounds like that’s how Apple implements it too, except they probably don’t let you use a different app.
I think this is a function that should be delegated to an app, so that users can choose from a variety of options. Having it built in would restrict that choice. Kind of like keyboards.
A few years ago Google got rid of a lot of their messaging apps. Now they need to make more so that they can have more.
You could always use a different launcher to do this. I like Nova Launcher, but there are lots of good options.
This is by far the most reasonable and mature conversation I’ve ever had on the internet. I wasn’t even advocating for one side or the other, was honestly just trying to learn more. Thank you for being a good person.
I agree with you about not supporting anyone who supports rogan, but it looks like he was last on the show in 2018. Is that correct?
I know rogan started ok and then went stupid at some point. Was MKBHD’s appearance before or after rogan shit the bed?
The question is moot from both sides of the deal, but understanding why is important.
For something like a game, you will only ever pay approximately what you think a game is “worth”. How you determine that value is entirely up to you and should be based on your own opinions and beliefs. Therefore, if you derive value from supporting niche developers, that’s great for you and you should continue to do so as you wish. If you don’t value that quite as much, then wait for a sale price that does.
Your individual decisions will not affect the decisions of publishers and developers.
Their decisions will take into account the total profit that they think a game can provide over its lifetime. This is determined by the initial price and sales as well as future discount prices and sales. The way they estimate the potential profit of a new project is based on past data. If they see most of their sales at launch time, they will price the game accordingly. If they see more revenue over time from sales, then they will price the game accordingly. As long as they continue to hit those goals, then they will continue making products for those audiences.
Therefore, the best way to support the projects you like is to buy the game when the price justifies the value to you. That is buy it whenever you want. The only way to not support (I am purposefully avoiding the word hurt) the publisher and developer is to pirate the games.
