Solving percents. I use this to predict gross and net of my paychecks when I do my budget.
Net X ------ = ------ Gross 100 (GrossX) = (Net × 100) GrossX ÷ (Net × 100) = X Example; 200 X ------ = ------- 250 100 Step A 200 × 100 = 20000 Now 250X = 20000 Step B 20000÷250=80 Therefore X=80 Also expressed as 80% of 250 = 200.
It’s also kinda handy when figuring out sales and stuff at the store, sometimes.
Friend, your guild idea already exists. It’s just called a Union in the current day. Many trades already operate this way, from the Carpenters Union to the Iron Workers Union. There’s even a Teamsters Union. The different name doesn’t change the work they do. White- collar hand much less representation with collective solidarity, but that can be fixed by starting a Union at your local work place. I won’t tell anyone it’s easy, but it’s worth putting in the work. A great example is the Starbucks unions that have popped up in the last few years. The reason you don’t see more unions is because employers are terrified of them, and want to continue to freely exploit the workforce through fear.
While I agree with getting rid of at-will policies, I disagree with one part of your idea. Why would I ever want to indenture myself to 5 years with the same employer? How would unions be handled? How about strikes? What about health insurance benefits?
Frankly, unions already solve alot of the problems with at-will employment, and should be protected by law rather then systemically stripped away.

Especially if he feels he can twist the existing ones to suit this purpose.

I’m only pointing out that from a legal perspective, this wouldn’t be an “official and legal” order. Such a thing can already be said of many of the Executive Orders that have been proclaimed and signed. It’s a technicality, I know, but I’m just trying to point out another instance of the law being twisted and ignored rather then upheld.

Necrobiotic by Penny for a Tale. It’s pretty cool, although i use it as a guide for world creation with DnD games rather then playing in the created system.

Gooooood Morning Night City!
For that price I can get 3-4 Ender-3s and the same number of Raspberry Pi and make my own smart printers .

Glad I’m switching away from Google controlled android anyway, I’ll be customized back to the old stuff if I have to.
Tool use? Any examples of this, cause that sounds like it would be cool to learn about.
I loved Deus Ex Human Revolution, it was my intro to the series and still one of my favs. I woild also recommend something a little more sandbox, like Minecraft or Lightyear Frontier, just for the sheer time sink these games can be. Farming and building can make you lose track of hours at a time, great for travel.
I could also recommend something like Be my Hoard. Trying to get over an hour on a run is a fun way to burn an hour, if you like rouge-lite styles.
If you like driving, something like American Truck Simulator or Euro Truck Simulator is another great time sink.
