Wanted to play some games, didn’t have money but I did know someone that knew someone that knew someone that ran a BBS that had some pirated games.
Yes, I’m that old.

Don’t be a completionist.
But how do I avoid feeling that horrible sense of emptiness? It’s not done until it’s 100%…
The organization as a whole, yes. But some individual troops are still run by bigots that haven’t gotten the message yet.
Build her a server, install it at her house, set up some sort of automated DVD ripping mechanism so that she can digitize her own collection, wait for the inevitable tech support call, then go spend a Sunday afternoon fixing her server and digitizing her collection for her while she makes you dinner. You get to call it “quality time”, and you get fed while keeping her happy and her collection as far away from yours as possible. Win/win, everyone is happy.
You are now annoying me. Have a nice day.
Call them whatever you want. Genetically they are male and female. This is simple biology, which is apparently much more complex than you seem to understand.
Every article you’ve posted and every article you will post says the same thing.
For a male cat to have a calico pattern, the feline has to have three sex chromosomes: two Xs and a Y. This phenomenon can happen in both humans and animals and is, in either case, known as Klinefelter syndrome.
Again, they may present with male genitals, but genetically they are both male and female. There are no male calico cats. It’s literally impossible.
All calicos have 2 X chromosomes. That means they are either female, or in rare cases intersexed XXY with male genitals. There are no strictly male calicos. It’s literally and biologically impossible.
Calicos can be XXY, which may present male genitals but is intersexed and both male and female. The genes for color are coded on the X chromosome. That’s why only females are calico.
The same thing I’d want if I were a cat. Nip.
And yet the cat still has a human working for them.
That sounds like an Apple product to me.
You know how cookies are a big deal and how every website keeps asking you to accept their cookies? Now you know why…it’s not a conspiracy, it’s just how the internet works.
Nothing…that’s just how they perceive themselves.
I learned a long time ago that the manufacturer doesn’t matter much on the long run. They all have a bad model occasionally. I have 500GB Seagate drives that still work, and some 1TB drives that died within a year. I’ve had good luck with recent WD Red 4TB drives, but my 2TB Green drives have all died on me. I had a some of the Hitachi Deskstar drives that worked perfectly for years when no one would touch them because of a bad production run. I currently have a Toshiba 8TB that I had never heard of before, but seems to be rock solid for the last year.
Pick a size that you want, look at what’s available, and research the reasonably priced ones to see if anyone is complaining about them. Review sites can be useful, but raw complaints in user forums will give you a better idea of which ones to avoid.
It’s only select movies that I’m getting in 4K, and any Star Trek that comes out in 4K or maybe the Star Wars 4K77 fan edit that was just released. But even then, they add up fast. I can barely tell the difference, but for some stuff I just want the best available.
Edit: I also did this when 720p VS 1080p was a thing. For a vast majority of stuff, 720p is fine and I’m not going to update that stuff. Most stuff released today isn’t even available or 720p anymore, so I’ve defaulted to 1080p for most new stuff.
I already am self hosting everything. I have an 8TB drive over half full at the moment, and filling up fast now that I have a 4K TV. I also have an Openvpn server so that I can access my content when I’m away. I’ve had this setup since before torrents were even a thing.
Except for that one dude.
