I don’t know about you guys, but I’m gonna say this was a good call.

Maybe bring a book? Why not save gaming for when you can actually do it well, not on a tiny screen at sub-60fps?
I guess I’m the only one in this thread that does other things when I’ve got down time away from the computer. When I want to play a video game, I don’t want to play a shittier version of it.
So glad I have a computer I can play games on so I don’t have to mess around with a smaller computer with a smaller screen and worse performance.
Edit: I pissed off the dad caucus with this comment. Steam decks are only for dads who can’t get more than thirty minutes of game time anymore and have no space for a legit gaming PC.
Bobby, if these kids could understand volcanic geology, they’d be very upset right now.
The problem is more why he changed his view: it affected him. There are people who change their views because they’re curious and empathetic and finally get the time to look into an issue and see how it affects other people. Those are the people that deserve praise for changing their views, even if they used to be conservative shitbags.
Can’t express how happy I am to finally be coming out of the deep dark. Seattle is a lot better in the summer when the days are like 16 hours long. I love it.
Simple: pirate adobe acrobat and ocr them yourself.
Do you realize that you can do other things in other places that aren’t gaming? Why game in a substandard way all over the place instead of saving your gaming for where you can actually have a good gaming experience?
If I’m going hiking, or hanging out with friends, something else outside, I’m not bringing a glorified Gameboy with me to do it. I’m gonna go and enjoy some non-gaming time.
Hey you do you, I just don’t get it.
I have no idea why anyone would want a shittier PC with a tinier screen to play their steam library. It seems totally pointless to me. The only people I know who seem to rave about them are dads who can’t get away to game except in half hour increments on the couch. I guess that’s better than nothing, but fuck, that’s a bleak gaming experience.
So many okay shows under one roof. How will I ever cancel?
