Wait, hardware steam link? Please tell me more. Mine is collecting dust. Can I throw Kodi on it?

Why is a 5 year old device still the best bet? It’s frustrating that nothing better exists on the market.
It’s an open source project. It’s always going to be out there. I am gonna go fork the repo just for the hell of it right now.
I am not an expert but I think compatibility is the only significant downside. If your device supports it, you h265 will give you better quality at the same file size.
Incredible. I wish to see it in person. I should go to museums more often
One thing I will also suggest is looking into https://home.tdarr.io/. It’s software that will re-encode your media to h265, saving you a lot of space. I just set it up on my synology NAS because I am at 80% storage and don’t feel like buying another drive yet.
Make Netflix more convenient than my ARR setup and I’ll happily come back.
It’s a great app. Works really well with android auto, which is how I consume most of my audiobooks.
Based on that let me recommend you “Brooklyn 99”, “The Good Place” and “Archer”.
I created one just for the hell of it. Call me Spartacus.
BRB, let me go create another fork.
It will get as close as 25km. Is there any hope of spotting signs of life from that distance?
Even though I consider myself technically savvy and I could have saved money with a DIY solution, I went with synology and I couldn’t be happier. It took me just one day to get it up and running with everything I needed. Including shucking the drives.
Are you brewing directly over the pour over? I’ve never seen that before.
This blog post taught me how to download directly to my NAS using curl. https://michelenasti.com/from-google-photos-to-synology-photos/
And don’t forget to change the default file export size. The default is 2gb, which for me resulted in over 300 files to download and there’s no easy to way to automate it. 50gb is max which was much better for me
I think you line of thinking just convinced me to go with bambu. If it starts sucking in a few years, voron or ratrig will have grown even more and I’ll build one of those.
That’s exactly how I feel. I don’t want to tinker with my printer anymore.
By complexity I mean plug-and-play. But, I guess it’s not a valid assumption I made.
I’ll have to check it out. I would love to replace my fire stick. I am trying to get jellyfin setup.
