2 oz Evan Williams bottled-in-bond

3/4 oz guava liqueur (see note)

3/4 oz Chinola passion fruit liqueur

1 oz lemon juice

Shaken.

It’s every bit as good as it sounds. Not too sweet but fruity and boozy.

Note: the guava is guava jam jar rinsed out with vodka, this trick courtesy of the brilliant Claire Lower of lifehacker.

For that note, do you literally mean an empty jar of jam refilled with vodka and shaken? That’s brilliant.

Ohh nevermind. I thought this trick made a lot more than just a couple ounces. I suppose that makes sense though, still handy.

I filled the jar halfway but I guess that is just 4-5oz. It’s so very delicious though, and Claire Lower always seems to find ideas like that - I am an experienced cook and usually when there is some tip online it’s something I am already doing and not helpful but she brings up ideas that seem so obvious once I try them but things I never thought of. Leftover Halloween chocolate candy into pancakes is another of her tips that is so unexpectedly good.

Can’t get these exact ingredients where I live but I love the tip using the booze rinsed guava jam jar.
