I wonder if that’ll still beat the first Axiom module. Either way, I’m glad that Vast is self funding this, but kind of wish the original CLD moved to funding and launching these initial modules faster.
Hm, so the launch date has slipped to 2027. Still ahead of everyone else, but starting to inch closer to the 2030 retirement of the ISS…
This is also only a minimum viable product, not a station that can be permanently crewed. It’ll only last for a few years and support short term crews.
So we’re also waiting for their next station to hopefully be a more viable ISS replacement.
