Weeellll…did it really turn into a full-fledged browser just by needing Deno now ( for the JS challenges, from what my brain matter can understand) to download YouTube vids?
Plus, pretty sure it still works for other sites without Deno as well.
missing ladybird
Its not real yet
If I compiled the source code they have on github would it just… Not work?
The release is planned for 2028, right now a lot of the websites will not work properly there, and if it’s working it would be super slow
Not even mentioning the extensions
Neither is anything else. It’s all just a dream.
Wake me up pls
No. This is the dream. It’s even worse out there.
it passes more wpt tests than servo now and from what i’ve seen is also generally more usable
although servo is still making great progress and is probably speeding up in development, ladybird seems to be progressing significantly faster
anyways if servo is on the list ladybird should be as well
Yes we are. Any day now?
youtube did what now?
Search
yt-dlp
You’ll have to add some context before I believe that. Also, which fork of youtube-dl?
yt-dlp. The context is this: https://github.com/yt-dlp/yt-dlp/issues/14404
TY. But isn’t Deno just a JavaScript runtime? That’s not what I’d describe as a “full-fledged browser”.
You are taking the joke too seriously
