If the Houthi Militia do not want to be attacked they have to stop attacking cargo ships. No one should be defending the Houthi Militia unless you support killing innocent sailors for some fucked up reason.

If the US doesn’t want it’s ships attacked, then it should stop arming Israel. No one should be defending the US government unless you support killing innocent Palestinians for some fucked up reason.

By that logic shouldn’t Israel stop the crimes against humanity it’s currently undertaking in Gaza if it doesn’t want shipping attacked?

No, because Israel’s attacks aren’t really related to the Houthi attacks. The Houthi are claiming solidarity with Palestine but the actions aren’t related.

They had stopped them for a solid period until Saudi airstrikes began again, and Israeli crimes against humanity in Gaza got more blatantly underway.

Might be worth giving it a try if we care about human life.

I assume you think Pakistan and China’s attacks on the Baloch people are valid as well, then?

Since how dare an exploited ethnic minority have some of its members turn to violence against a hostile state.

Are the Balochs attacking innocent civilians in international waters? As they aren’t this is a false equivalence.

The Houthi represent the plurality within Yemen. The overthrew the coalition government starting the civil war. They are not an oppressed minority rather they are a group that represents the largest group and want to oppress others.

I’m sorry, I figured taking a train load of people hostage or repeated bombings of public transport would be equivalent enough.

The Houthi, and other Zayidi Shia groups, have been discriminated against legally and culturally since the at least the 80s. (At least in part a response to Zaydi rule during the Ottoman Period).
I can’t find straight ethnic group numbers, but most sources state them to be a minority, so I’d assume that that’s the largest single smaller than 50% group. And given the diversity of peoples in Yemen, makes the religious aspect more important.

Not all good though, the Houthi movement could (should) be doing better on treatment of Bahaï and Jewish people, and the treatment of women could be better, but the Houthi forces are also engaged in combat with Al Qaeda, who would be much worse.

Many of these ships have nothing to do with Israel.

Why do you think the Iranian propaganda you are currently maintaining reflects the facts on the ground?

No I want to protect the innocents on the ships who are getting murdered by The Houthi for no reason. These ships are not connected to the war or any party in that war in many cases.

What you are supporting is terrorists murdering innocent sailors to stop a war they have nothing to do with, why?

I never said anything about Gaza so don’t put words in my mouth. The Houthi are claiming they are doing this in solidarity but they attacked ships during th ceasefire which is at odds with that claim.

It’s weird that anyone who isn’t in theory racist and ostensibly cares about peace would back The Houthi Militia who instigated the civil war and whose ideology is overtly racist.
