I was reading the BBC live updates of the ‘briefing’ where Trump ‘answered questions.’ Starts at 17:21 if you scroll down.
Of course he blames it on DEI hires. He also blamed the helicopter and later said it was because of ‘practicing.’
Why does he think it’s DEI hires, you ask? Well, Trump answered, and I quote: “Because I have common sense, and unfortunately a lot of people don’t.”
What the actual fuck. Donald “I have common sense” fucking Trump. Lmfao.
Ah, yes, BG3. I’ve spent way too many hours on that game already, figured I should replay some other games. Still probably will go back to it though, it’s just so good. Hadn’t heard of Beyond All Reason, but it does look interesting. I see it’s pvp RTS, yes? Pvp is not my thing, but a solo campaign would be nice.
And that video, yeah, I certainly understand that people want to know these things, different outcomes and dialogue, because I do too, it’s the reason I love RPG’s so much, but you see that’s the thing: I do it myself. I already played the Witcher multiple times and did everything in different orders. I’ve played Mass Effect more times than I care to admit and make different choices each time. Doing missions in different orders, or not doing certain missions at all. Letting different people die, making different companions loyal, different romances, paragon/renegade decisions, etc. Same goes for BG3 and Dragon Age and Divinity:OS/2, etc. Any game I enjoy enough to replay, I’ll replay in different ways and it’s so awesome to play a game for the umpteenth time and still find things you haven’t seen before. So I’d prefer no spoilers. I’ll cheat sometimes and just try something out of curiosity, then afterwards I reload. Or I change plot flags. Ha, but most people probably don’t want to spend the time on it and videos are a lot less time-consuming.
Hmm, well, I recently finished a playthrough of Mass Effect, N7 day every year, hm? Before that it was Dragon Age, mostly due to the release of Veilguard. Sadly that game is apparently so terrible that I’ll probably never play it. Some of my friends already regret buying it and sent me clips of the atrocious dialogue. At the very least it’ll have to be 80% off if I ever try it, lol.
Been replaying a lot, The Witcher 3, Disco Elysium, Divinity:OS2. Early this year I did a Fallout 4 playthrough with all chapters of Sim Settlement 2 installed. Lucky too, that I got to play the entire story before the update hit and ruined my game. I don’t think even half of my mods work anymore, so thanks, Bethesda, for Skyrimming Fallout 4.
Really I’m just waiting for KCD to release, somewhere in February next year, so I’ll probably be replaying KCD. Also on a rewatch of The Wire at the moment and almost done reading the Culture series by Banks.
Guess I just love stories.

I’m starting to think that maybe I’m just really boring. In those situations you describe I’m usually just reading, or maybe watching series.
Isn’t that game some sort of theme park simulator? I agree it sounds weird to get a highscore with just a swimming pool. :p
Yeah, you make sense. I’m not really a multiplayer or competitive game player at all, that’s probably why. Single player all the way (though if I could go back to early years Ragnarok Online I would without a second thought :p). Not really a sports person either, rooting for teams and such, meh. Guess it’s just not really my thing at all. It happens. Or I haven’t found the thing I might like yet, could be.
But for the people who like this stuff, they’ll never run out of content, plenty of videos and streamers everywhere. That’s gotta be nice.
Same. I never watch other people playing games, or sports for that matter, with LoL Worlds being the exception, which might be a little weird because I don’t even play it myself. I’ll usually watch the knock-out stage. My husband watches the entire thing, but that’s a bit too much for me.
Anyway, yeah why would I watch someone else play a game when I can just play it myself? For games I haven’t played yet, I would spoiler it for myself. Games I’ve already played… well, don’t need to watch that anymore, right?
I know many people watch/listen to that stuff in the background, while doing other things, but my background is for music. ;)

I hope you’re not feeling too guilty about it. Many people just don’t know these things and when you buy stuff in the store you kinda sorta expect it to, at the very least, not be so harmful.
One of my cats had chronic diarrhea when she was a kitten and even after vet visit it didn’t stop. That’s why I started reading about feline nutrition and learned that cats need basically two things: meat and water. That stupid special diet food didn’t help, of course, it was dry food with stuff they didn’t need. We switched to better wet food and cut almost all their dry food and all the issues were gone. My boy started peeing more which is very good, especially for male cats (they get UTI’s very easily). They also both started pooping less, which is very logical if you think about it. All the non-meat filler… well they can’t digest it, so they poop it out. Now they eat 100% meat and they poop once every 2-3 days, and in way smaller quantities. Oh and their fur became way more full and much softer too. They just look healthier.
During my search for info I found this website. It’s a great thing to read for every cat owner. It lays out the info in a very logical way en it’s easily understandable. I’d say everyone who has cats should read it.
My cats are pushing 11 now (they’re siblings) and have zero health issues. I’m so happy I figured it out when they were so young. Still, I think it’s terrible that so many people just don’t know/learn these things and have the best intentions but then still end up hurting their own cats, because the stuff they buy is simply bad. But I guess pets aren’t really a high priority for lawmakers, so I doubt standards for pet food will change any time soon. This is why I try to spread around info a bit.

Yup. I always try to explain this to people, because I’ve noticed many people who really try to give their cats the best just don’t really know about these things. And they inadvertently hurt their cats.
Giving your cats healthier food doesn’t necessarily have to be super expensive either. Even supermarket wet food is better than dry. Sure, they sometimes have vegetables or grains added as well, but at the very least you fix the water intake issue and this is the number one priority imo.
Pretty much only wet food, except for a few kibbles every day because they love them so much, like treats. Dry food is super bad for cats, because they have very little natural thirst drive. This means they won’t drink enough water by themselves, no matter how many fountains or water bowls you put out. This is easily explained. Cats are obligatory carnivores. This means that they need to eat meat. House cats are not different at all from their wild (and bigger) counterparts. Instinctively they do the same things. So ask yourself this: How do cats get most of their fluid intake in nature? Exactly! While eating their prey. Cats are ‘used to’ getting enough water by eating.
When you exclusively feed your cat dry food, they’ll never get enough water intake to be healthy. This increases the risk of urinary tract infections and a bunch of other things. When you feed them bad quality dry food (lots of grains and non-meat filler), in addition to UTI’s they will run a high risk of developing other problems like Diabetes.
So basically I’m saying: Only/mostly feed your cat wet food. The worst wet food is still always better than the best dry food. Because water is so important.
Edit: Also note that most of the “special diet” cat food is dry food. Which is ridiculous. I would never feed my cats that. Most vets have these well-known products like Hill’s or Royal Canin that they prescribe… PLEASE REMEMBER: Vets are sponsored by these brands, and pet food regulations aren’t nearly as strong as they should be. Vets get money specifically for advertising and prescribing these brands. This does not necessarily mean that they are good for your cats. Why would a vet prescribe dry food for cats, when the worst dietary offenders are low water content and non-meat ingredients?

I still use reddit when I’m looking for very specific information, because reddit still is an amazing database of content/info. Many of my searches kinda end up on reddit that way. But I don’t post there anymore and I block all ads. So… I’m still using it but providing nothing in return. I can live with that.

F.E.A.R. has such good enemy AI. It’s an amazing shooter.
Still, I’ve only ever played it once, because I’m a big wuss and scary is not my thing, I just can’t do it again. Alma is fucking creepy and the entire atmosphere gives me nightmares.
But yeah, for anyone who enjoys shooters, F.E.A.R. is a great one.
