Eh, even in “the real world” we still encounter blue wave lengths in the evening. I think it is a matter or reduction (aka not shoving a largely blue light source in your face) than elimination.

Im not so sure. I think this is more of a question about taking arbitrary, undefined, or highly variable unstructured data and transforming it into a close approximation for structured data.
Yes, the pipeline will include additional steps beyond “LLM do the thing”, but there are plenty of tools that seek to do this with LLM assistance.

He has stated intentions to ease his predecessor’s scrutiny of business mergers and acquisitions, while continuing critical oversight of big tech platforms.

What it sounds like you are contributing is incessant cynicism with zero effort on your part to actually improve your community.
The common name comes from the Romans, who ate them as a delicacy.
First paragraph.
- Pretty much any hobby is carbon positive. Gardening is almost certainly on the lower end of carbon positive hobbies.
- In the agriculture domain, growing plants for the sake of direct consumption is not the primary source of emissions - that would be animal based agriculture by far.
- Gardening promotes community resilience and health.

The counterargument is simple - space is large and time is long. We aren’t a threat now but we could easily become a threat in, say, 1000 years. Which, is basically no time at all in interstellar politics. Any species who could potentially become a technical capable threat should be assumed as a technically capable threat.
If you mean “point and click” level of proficiency, sure.
Meh, maybe 10% of a single generation at most know how to use computers. Technically savvy millenials vastly overestimate how technically savvy other millenials are.

htrayl@lemmy.worldto Solarpunk Urbanism@slrpnk.net•One solution to fight climate change? Fewer parking spaces - GristEnglish31·2 years agoAdjusting parking minimums and reducing parking over time is absolutely the way to promote alternatives. It promotes higher better access to services (as land can be used for alternatives) and cheaper housing (meaning you can live closer to where you work).
The reality is we are vastly overparked. Depending on where you live, there can be 8 TIMES the number of parking spaces than cars. You can pretty easily reduce parking by 1/3 and have near zero impact for drivers 99% of the time (maybe on black Friday you may need to take a ride).
Also, just want to point out to the conservatives and libertarians in the crowd: Parking Minimums are a TAX. Worse, they are a tax that overly affects small business that is less likely to be able to get the support they need endure the taxes effect on their finances.
htrayl@lemmy.worldto Solarpunk Urbanism@slrpnk.net•One solution to fight climate change? Fewer parking spaces - GristEnglish3·2 years agoPeople do this all the time in communities that emphasize biking. Easily. And actually, it isn’t that difficult to do.
Further, driving isn’t feasible for everyone, but driving is emphasized in such a way that alternatives cannot thrive.
htrayl@lemmy.worldto Solarpunk Urbanism@slrpnk.net•One solution to fight climate change? Fewer parking spaces - GristEnglish4·2 years agoPart of why you have to live so far is because parking minimums create vast amounts of space that sits empty 90% of the time.
The other part is because of stringent zoning regulations that kill real housing options.
The lack of food safety makes my eye twitch.
