I played the first one for awhile on iOS. Got hooked till I hit endgame and ran out of things to do. 2 looks like there is more stuff to do, might check it out.

Also, I don’t play in Hard Mode specifically because I might make typos and don’t want to be penalized for making a typo and hitting backspace and fixing it before I submit. Does Hard Mode actually count each individual keystroke and so I’d get penalized for mistyping, recognizing it, and fixing before submitting?

Kind of surprised I did well today, I usually suck at these.

Not everyone has to be a master architect/artist, just to enjoy the game :)

Good content, just wish it wasn’t a video and was an article instead. Bless YouTube transcripts for getting me one step closer to that.

I am in the other camp, I like the immersion.

I also have a tendency to not bother with VA, though, and to just click through the second I finish reading the dialogue, except for lines in particularly dramatic parts of the story. Sometimes not even then. Just figure I’d offer a counter opinion especially since this thread is probably going to be full of people who always choose voice acting when it is an option, given the thread is all about it. I am glad so many people derive joy from it, just because it is Not For Me doesn’t mean I think it’s Bad And Worthless :)

An actually high quality mobile game… I never played it myself but was quite happy for iOS gamers when it came around. Should play it some day.

man it’s like there are options that don’t involve aggression towards another person for… not being bad at a video game

I count myself lucky the men I know in real life are chill, and that I am not too interested in PvP games, scared off by the constant reinforcement from stories online that someone will be shitty to me because I am a woman. When I did play TF2 it was always pubs mic off and with a very gender-neutral username.

Whether directing the farmer to harvest crops, training police officers to protect the city, or upgrading homes to improve comfort, you have the power to shape their lives.

Sounds cool enough to make me probably want to play the demo even though the graphics feel off in a way I can’t describe that fits perfectly with the Steam description needing a proofread in some areas.
