    I really like this painting. The concept, that people just walked home after church seems so unfamiliar. Can not imagine how long that took.

      Yes it’s probably small village life. Those aren’t comfy shoes either. Brittany is quite rural besides the few big cities and towns. A lot like Cornwall in the UK over the channel, and same Celtic history.
