“Fix” should probably be in quotation marks here. 😁🫠
Ameripoors will never understand the superior European metric months
While not “metric” per se, I would be very interested to see one of those calendars implemented in the modern day where all months are 30 days long and have 3 weeks of 10 days each, with the remaining 5 or 6 days occupying a holiday at the end of the year outside of the normal months.
The only part that might suck is how to define the work week. 6 days on/4 days off sounds reasonable enough to me, but I’d anticipate global industries everywhere trying to keep 2 days as the standard length for a weekend—now with more week.
What are your thoughts on 13 months, each with 28 days?
13 × 28 = 364, “New Years Day” is outside of the normal week/month schedule, and we get “New Years Day 2: (Electric Boogaloo)” on leap years.
Also good, though part of me still likes the idea of trying to go for a base 10 standard, even if it leaves more of a remainder
i was joking earlier but there actually is a ““metric calender””

They also tried metric time but that’s kind of dumb
Oh, we have Mayuary already!
Maybe if you spelled February correctly?
But they only typed two letters
Oh. Right.
Sorry, Excel can’t hear you.
